Promote a High-quality Development of the Digital Education: 520 “Golden Courses” of Zhejiang Province were Released on the Public Service Platform of “Smart Education of China”

In order to carry out the spirit of the national conference on education 2022, vigorously implement the strategic action of educational digitization, seize the opportunities for future development, and effectively promote the high-quality development of education with educational informatization, “smart education of China”(https://www.smartedu.cn/)has recently officially put into released. As the first batch of docking organizations, Zhejiang Institutions of higher learnings online open course sharing platform recommended the first 520 "golden Courses" of Zhejiang colleges and universities to the national platform, and all of them passed the online examine, including 344 undergraduate courses and 176 vocational courses.

Theonlinecourse sharing platform is charged by the department of education of Zhejiang provinceand hosted by Zhejiang Open University. Since its operation in 2016, it has undertaken important responsibilities such as incubation, cultivation, and sharing of online open courses within the province, which also has played an important role in promoting the deep integration of information technology and teaching, and promoting the "Internet + Teaching" development in the province. Up to now, there are 632 schools settled on the platform, with more than 23,000 registered teachers and more than 2.91 million learners. The platform has also developed 4225 MOOCs, including 88 national courses and 955 provincial courses.

In recent years, the online course sharing platform has actively promoted the online open course sharing application and credit recognition among colleges and universities in the province. In 2021, a total of 2294 inter-school shared courses were released, with 1.14 million students sharing courses, 220 million minutes of video learning, and more than 56,000 online homework tests. This also promotes colleges and universities to complete the credit recognition and transfer 72,440 person-times, with a total of 126,551 credits. The online open course sharing application and credit mutual recognition performance has been included in the undergraduates’ teaching performance assessment of colleges and universities. These typical practices and experiences of the curriculum sharing platform were reported bytodays chosen newspaper( ‘Jinrizebao’in Chinese) of the Provincial Department of education.

Next, according to the planning of the Ministry of education (MOE) and the provincial Department of Education, the onlinecoursesharing platform will continue to improve the quality of online open courses, strengthen the digital level of course resources, and make a positive contribution to promoting the construction of a high-quality development system of online open course in China.
